Description
The aim of the project is to determine the speciation of toxic elements such as mercury and arsenic in the marine food chain. more

Fish samples of the Scheldt estuary were collected in 1996 for Hg speciation (mainly in Doel). Marine fish were mainly obtained from the fish markets of Zeebrugge and Nieuwpoort.
